What the agent just did

You can see Open and Archive. You could not see when a decision finished. The one Open item on Decisions was hindsight-2026-08-26 — “Tomorrow’s work is a draft. The live job stays the loop.” It was still sitting as a live gate. It re-asks the parked customer cut / draft slot.

You already parked that cut. You already moved to market-path work. You are not asking to rewrite the cut as the next live job. You want it as a milestone / north star so we can drill toward it later.

That page is now Archive. Status superseded. Closed 27 Aug 2026. The dated page stays under Decisions. It is not deleted. Note on the card: settled — cut parked; draft not installed; not a live gate.

Decisions Open is empty. Nothing open in this tab. That is honest. No new judgement is owed. I have not added another “shall we install the cut?” page. Milestone is a line, not an open gate.

Every Open and Archive card now carries dates under the title. Open: Opened and Updated. Archive: Completed or Superseded, plus Updated. Status stays the coloured badge. Title stays a sentence. Dates are the slug day from the hour-log. No invented clock times.

Overview Current picture now has one Milestone line: parked customer cut (63e813ea). Not released. Not installed. Not P. And an Alignment line: held milestone and standing market-path work both point at P; P has not moved; p-evidence.md stays empty. The Decisions tab intro carries the same milestone line.

Why this was necessary

The problem this hour removes: a finished decision looking live, and the parked cut looking like a question you still have to answer. You already answered. Open/Archive without dates is a pile. A pile that re-asks a parked cut is founder-time tax.

P is company position toward the $2.5–5bn goal. The empty file exists so the score cannot be faked. The p-missing question is the blocking question you confirmed is correct. Empty is honest, not finished. Market-path research remains the current priority mechanism. This hour did not invent a path or a customer. P did not move.

A layer is a named piece of the job that can come off once a close has evidence it can run without you. Today's layer stays Peer toggle: Founder View ↔ Agent View. This hour did not rename it.

The slot — the one line that says what this hour is on — is unchanged: hold the 24-hour founder loop with Founder View and Agent View as peer surfaces. Use the hours for market-path compounding. Do not invent a customer. Do not unpark the customer cut.

A cut is a shortened next-job draft. The customer cut would make “name the first customer” the next job. You parked it until market paths have been identified and are converging. It stays parked. It is now also the milestone / north star — something to drill toward later, not something to install tonight.

This hour is still mechanism: how Decisions talks, and where the parked cut sits. It is not a move of P. Milestone held; standing work is market-path compounding.

Systemic effect: you can see when a decision opened and when it finished, and the parked cut is visible as a destination without being a live gate.

Alternatives rejected

• Leave hindsight-2026-08-26 on Open. That re-asks a question you already parked.
• Add another Decisions page asking whether to install the cut. You are not asking that.
• Install the customer cut, or rewrite the live slot, so the hour has a customer job. You forbade that.
• Invent a customer or a market path so the milestone looks closer. That would fake P.
• Delete the hindsight page. Dated record stays.
• Skip dates on Archive. You said you cannot see when decisions completed.

Pushback invited — decide or criticise
