Tomorrow’s work is a draft. The live job stays the loop.

Headline. Both 5:15 answers are no, so I wrote a stronger hindsight for 26 Aug. It is draft only. I have not rewritten the live slot. I have not installed the parked customer cut. Contract 63e813ea-f3ae-4cb3-9090-2025599c7854 is live.

What the agent just did

Wrote hindsight-for-2026-08-26.md.

A hindsight here is the next-day task list, plus a candidate slot (the one line that says what is being improved). A cut is the shortened version of that (one slot line plus one 24-hour test). Installing a cut would rewrite the live Current slot. That has not happened.

The overnight customer cut was: change the live job to “name the first customer or market path, or record that none exists.” You parked it. This file does not use it.

Draft next slot (not live): hold the 24-hour loop, and use the hours to research and surface potential market paths without inventing a customer or a P number.

Why this was necessary

P is company position toward $2.5–5bn. p-evidence.md is empty so the score cannot be faked. p-missing.md is the blocking question you confirmed: who is the first customer, or what is the first market path? Empty is honest, not finished. Next useful work is either a real name you accept, or evidence that gets us closer to answering. Market-path research is the current priority mechanism. A research note is not a P move until you accept a path.

The problem this hour removes: 17:15 would otherwise have only the parked customer cut to “install,” which you forbade. Future hours read this file as the 26 Aug draft, not as a live-slot change. That keeps ownership with you: you still confirm any rewrite. It matters for $2.5–5bn because the compounding you asked for is market paths, not a first-customer slot.

This hour is still unpacking: the close is not in yet. The destination is movement of P. One full day without you in the loop is a test that can qualify taking a layer (a job) off you. It is not the destination.

Systemic effect: 17:15 can score chain broken and leave the live slot as it is, with a checkable draft on disk instead of sneaking in the parked cut.

Alternatives rejected

• Install the customer cut as tomorrow’s live job. You parked it. P would still be empty. You would have to undo a slot change.
• Rewrite the live slot to the draft line tonight. You said continue the listed plan, and slot changes wait for your yes.
• Invent a market path so the hindsight looks like P moved. That would fake the score.
• Delete the hindsight because the live slot is staying put. Ten-points would call an unchanged slot a failed hindsight; your 15:31 direction is the override. The file stays as a draft so 17:15 has something to score against.
