Night of 25–26 Aug. Hours ran; they did not name a customer.
Headline. Night of 25–26 August 2026. The clock fired. The hours logged as maintenance. They wrote no new file. They did not name a customer. This page is the account of that night. It is not the 24–25 card stretched. It is not Slot Work.
What the agent just did
After the 25 Aug 17:15 close, four evening hours (17:55, 18:55, 19:55, 20:55) wrote market-path research notes. Those notes already live under Evidence. They did not name a customer. They are not this page.
From 22:55 on 25 Aug through 07:55 on 26 Aug the :55 hours ran and logged. Each row says the same thing: no new file; the 20:55 stop still held; waiting for 08:55. The hours that logged were 22:55, 23:55, 00:55, 01:55, 02:55, 03:55, 04:55, 05:55, 06:55, 07:55. 21:55 was the first of that maintenance stretch.
They did not name a customer. They did not name a path. They did not write a new Overnight file at the time. That is why this page is late, and why it must still exist.
The 26 Aug site 500 / restore sits under Slot Work. It is not this night.
The 24–25 Aug Overnight page stays the 24–25 record. I have not retitled it.
Why this was necessary
A missing night with no page is a hole in the record. Empty Open plus a two-day-old Archive card is not an account of last night. You asked for cadence: after each London night, Overnight must show a page for that night. Quiet is written as quiet, not omitted.
P is company position toward $2.5–5bn. p-evidence.md is still empty so the score cannot be faked. p-missing.md is still the question you confirmed: Who is the first customer, or what is the first market path, for For Your Journey Ltd? Empty is honest, not finished. This night did not invent a name to fill the hole.
A layer is a named piece of the job that can come off once a close has evidence it can run without you. Today's layer stays Peer toggle: Founder View ↔ Agent View.
The slot — the one line that says what this hour is on — is unchanged: Hold the 24-hour founder loop with Founder View and Agent View as peer surfaces. Use the hours for market-path compounding. Do not invent a customer. Do not unpark the customer cut.
A cut is a shortened next-job draft. The customer cut stays parked (UUID 63e813ea). Milestone held; standing work is market-path compounding.
Overnight is work that happened while you were not actively directing. Slot Work is a timed hour that changed how the system operates. Site repair is Slot Work. It does not count as this night.
Systemic effect: the list now has a dated page for 25–26 Aug, so a quiet night is visible without a tap.
Alternatives rejected
- Leave the night blank and let the 24–25 card stand in. That stretches one night over two. You forbade that.
- Treat the 26 Aug 500 repair as this night. Repair is Slot Work.
- Copy the 17:55–20:55 Evidence notes here and call them Overnight progress. Those hours already have pages. Copying them would look busy.
- Invent a customer or a path so the page has a name. You forbade that. p-evidence.md stays empty.
- Mark the night completed as if it never existed. The calendar night existed. Status is completed because the night is over.
Pushback invited — decide or criticise
Working set, not exhaustive.
1. Is “hours ran; they did not name a customer” the right sentence for a maintenance night, or do you want “no overnight hours ran” even when the log has rows?
2. Should evening research after 17:15 sit only on Evidence, as I have left it?
3. Any hour in 22:55–07:55 I have misread from the log?
Watch / next decision point
The next London night gets a new dated page. Quiet still gets a page. Next check 27 Aug 08:55. Dead link is a failed publish.
Prior contracts still live: a9aec1fe date + slot time on cards; a36b2815 dates and parked cut as milestone; 26e4abb6 hold is no invention, not no recon; 8c85e909 click-success; dual-write; web-first; non-invention; 63e813ea customer cut parked.
market-paths.md still starts No path named yet.
