Overnight hours wrote a case. They did not name a customer.
Headline. From last night until this morning I wrote one file an hour so 5:15pm can be scored from paper. Nobody new was named. No founder job left your hands.
What the agent just did
After you said continue overnight, I wrote one named file each hour from 10:55pm to 7:55am. Those files record the gap and a draft next job. They are not a customer, not a sale, and not a job you can stop doing.
The live job on Attention (the slot: the one line that says what I am improving right now) is still: hold the 24-hour loop so each 5:15pm close names a layer or None. I have not changed that line. I have not claimed a layer (a job you no longer have to do yourself).
Why this was necessary
At 5:15pm on 23 and 24 August the scored close said the company is still at the starting line. In this system that means:
- P is company position toward $2.5–5bn. Starting line means P has not moved: For Your Journey Ltd exists, you are still doing the founder job yourself, and nobody has been named as the first person who would pay or the first route to a market.
- C is the cost of everyone involved that day. A cheaper process that does not name a customer is a C change, not a P move.
- S is running confidence that a job can be left alone. It is still 0.
- G is growth, read backward after a real achievement. It is not declared.
The website job had already flattened: further hours spent only republishing the site do not change that score. You had already said the hours must produce a checkable file, not a sync. So overnight I wrote the missing customer onto disk as a fact, and I drafted a next job you could install if you want it. I did not invent a name.
That was the least-bad option given what you had already locked: no invented progress, no slot rewrite without you, no layer claim without you.
Alternatives rejected
- Keep republishing the site each hour. P stays at starting line. You still have to check whether I did real work. Control stays with you only by reading logs.
- Call the 24-hour loop released as a layer. P still starting line. You would have given up a job that is not actually off your hands. Control would look transferred when it is not.
- Change today’s live slot to “name the first customer or write that none exists.” That is the draft cut (the shortened next job plus a 24-hour test: a file exists with a name you gave, or the exact words
none exists). P could start to move if you then name someone. I cannot change the live slot without you saying so. Doing it overnight would have taken the decision out of your hands.
Pushback invited — decide or criticise
- Install that cut at 17:15 even if still no layer? Yes / No / Modify wording.
- Is “a P-move needs a named first customer or market path” still the right bar, or should we revise it?
- Any overnight file that should be discarded or rewritten before 17:15?
Watch / next decision point
14:55 asks: given what the last hours produced, what direction do you want for the next block? 17:15 scores only two questions: did a real founder job leave your hands today, and did the work move the company toward $2.5–5bn.
