Headline. Contract UUID 729da95e-988c-4a58-bd0a-c208edcfffe5 is live. When a London day adds Evidence hours that only asked the weak / deepen / drop trio, Open asks now shows one dated card for that day, just after 1–4. The trio stays collapsed. No path named. P unchanged. Customer cut parked.

What the agent just did

You opened Overview around 19:55 London on 28 August 2026 and saw Open = 52 (45 Evidence + 6 Contract + 1 Hermes). Then you opened Open asks and N was 35, with nothing from today sitting as its own question. Today's Evidence hours had harvested. They were only extra source links under the collapsed trio — asks 24–26, weak / deepen / drop. That card had no date of its own. You asked for an explanation or a fix. You chose the fix.

So this hour is the inbox, not another recon page. I have not written a 19:55 path-research card.

What you get on Open asks:

One dated card for today. If London today added Open Evidence hours whose only asks were the standing trio, the inbox emits one unifying ask after Towards the cut (1–4). The count on that card is hours that day — path-research-* — not Overview cards and not N. The stamp is today plus the last of those hours, so a glance sees 28 Aug and the last slot. The question does not name a path. Answering 1–4 can supersede it.

The trio stays collapsed. I have not uncollapsed it. I have not given each hour its own number. I have not sorted the inbox by recency or strength.

The collapsed card now carries a date. It stamps the latest source — Latest 28 Aug 2026 · 18:55 — so you are not looking at a dateless block with today's work hidden in a list of links.

N and Overview are different counts. Overview’s Open count is cards (Evidence + Contract + Slot Work). N on Open asks is questions after collapse. A day of new Evidence that only asked the trio still produces one dated ask here.

The matching Slot Work page is inbox today-ask. In progress. Live mechanism. Not parked.

Open evidence is unchanged. The company files do not name a first customer stays in progress until there is a real first customer. I have not closed any Evidence card.

Why this was necessary

The problem this hour removes: a whole London day of Evidence could land on the site and still look, on Open asks, like nothing new had been asked. The hours were there — collapsed under 24–26, no date on the card — so a scan of N = 35 with no question from today was an honest reading of a dishonest-feeling page. You could not reply regarding today without opening the trio and counting source links.

Future file behaviour: the next time a London day adds path-research-* hours that only asked the trio, publish will emit one dated unifying ask after 1–4. The collapsed block will show the latest source date on the card. One hour does not become one new number. A path is not invented to fill the question. Other contracts are not collapsed into this card.

Why that matters for ownership, steering, and $2.5–5bn: you steer from the inbox. If a day of work is invisible there, you cannot say keep stacking, name a line, or stop the hours. P stays empty and honest — p-evidence.md is still empty so the score cannot be faked; the p-missing question is still the blocking question you confirmed. Empty is honest, not finished. Market-path research remains the current priority mechanism. Making today's hours visible is not a named path and not a customer. P did not move.

P is company position toward the $2.5–5bn goal. The empty file exists so the score cannot be faked.

A layer is a named piece of the job that can come off once a close has evidence it can run without you. Today's layer stays Peer toggle: Founder View ↔ Agent View. This hour did not rename it.

A cut is a shortened next-job draft. The customer cut would make “name the first customer” the next job. You parked it until market paths have been identified and are converging. It stays parked.

This hour is still mechanism / unpacking: the inbox now shows a day of trio-only Evidence as one dated ask. It is not a move of P. Milestone held; standing work is market-path compounding.

Systemic effect: you can open Open asks, see a Today card with a 28 Aug stamp just after 1–4, and answer that one question — keep stacking, name a line from today, or stop — without treating the collapsed trio as the only place today's work lives.

Alternatives rejected

• Leave it as explanation only. You chose a fix.
• Write a 19:55 recon page so today has a new Evidence card. That would be another thin hour, not visibility.
• Uncollapse the trio, or give each hour its own number. You forbade that. N would jump by the day.
• Sort the inbox by recency or strength so today's hours float. Strength stays on the recon map.
• Invent a path in the question so the card has a name. That would fake P.
• Sit the card only above the collapsed trio, not after 1–4. The default is just after Towards the cut. You can move it — that is pushback 2.
• Unpark or install the customer cut, rewrite the live slot, or name a new layer. You forbade that.
• Start Hermes. Need has not surfaced.
