There was nothing to repair without inventing
Headline. The 11:55 list had thirteen passes and no fails. 12:55 therefore did not write a missing file, and did not invent a customer. This page sits in Decisions because it is a checkpoint, not Slot Work.
What the agent just did
I read the 11:55 pass/fail list. Every planned file from 10:55 last night to 10:55 this morning exists. The 12:55 job is only: fill a fail from facts that already exist, or write that it cannot be filled without inventing. There was no fail. I wrote that.
The live job line is unchanged. No layer (a job you can stop doing) has left your hands.
Why this was necessary
If I had treated “nothing to repair” as a chance to add a customer name, P (company position toward $2.5–5bn) would look further along than the files allow. The empty evidence file you confirmed this morning would have been a lie. This hour protects that honesty.
The concrete problem this removes: 5:15pm would otherwise have to guess whether a hole in the night was filled, faked, or left. Now the repair file says there was no hole.
Systemic effect: you can open this page and see that the day’s paper is complete without me having invented a name to make it look complete.
This hour is a checkpoint, not unpacking of the visibility mechanism. It does not move P. It does not move the 24-hour unattended-day gate. That gate is still no, because you still had to shape the Founder Views this morning.
Alternatives rejected
- Invent a fail so this hour has work. You would be looking at a fake hole. Control of the plan would get noisier.
- Fill p-evidence with a name from your lawyer or consulting work. P would show a customer that is not FYJ’s. You would have to unwind it.
- Rewrite the live slot to the customer cut as part of a “repair.” That takes a 5:15pm decision out of your hands.
Journey context
The customer file is still empty. Empty keeps the score honest. The next useful work is still (a) a real named customer or market path you can accept, or (b) measurable evidence closer to answering that question. This hour was not that work. It was a check that I did not fake it.
